I didn’t realize it until tonight, but I failed to mention the milestone that I passed last Sunday. I am now 30 years old. AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
It’s not that bad, although many people I know tried to make it seem that way. One lady at my church encouraged me. When I told her I turned 30, she said, “Shoot, I have shoes older than that.”
Of all the jokingly discouraging things people said to me, I guess the worst came from my own mind. It is sad, but true—I only have 40 more years until I can retire.
