Here is a link to my most recent column in the Knoxville News-Sentinel: http://knoxnews.com/news/2008/mar/09/never-say-never/. Sadly, I believe that this is my last column as one of the Sentinel’s “Community Columnists.”
I have enjoyed the opportunity provided to me to write in a publication read by so many people. The experience has helped me in many ways, especially giving me the opportunity to correspond with a diverse group of people. I hope that others have enjoyed reading my columns as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
There are many topics that I could have written about over the last year, but because I was only given 12 columns, I decided to write about the things that are most important to me. Faith, family, and hope have been the major themes, with a few others thrown in. I pray that maybe some have helped you along your journey through life.
As this last column mentions, please feel free to pass along your stories of overcoming seemingly impossible odds. Life all too short; share your stories in hopes of enriching the lives of others.
