Again and Again

little feet
long path
quickly moving

sharp curves
steep hills
progress stops

fear rises
dreams vanish
sadness falls

grace offered
help accepted
hope restored

momentum regained
failures redeemed
love wins

  1. I may have to tap you or any other poets around these neck of the woods to prepare a poem for me so that I can give to my wife. My poetic skills start with roses are red and end in embarrassment.

Thanks for this. Blessed by it!

  2. The transition in just those few lines is amazing. Almost gave me chills. Things get tough and scary and progress stops. But then grace puts it all back into motion.

BTW, I was totally expecting “feet” to be in your poem today.

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting 🙂 This book was a very deep read. Even if you’re not a YA fan I think you’d find it very interesting.
