Then He Came

He hadn’t come yet;

The Messiah,
the promised King.

They were expecting Him;

The One who would
change everything.

Then He came

in a way that
no one expected.

And He lived
without sin in
order to die
for the sins

of others.

From manger
to cross
to grave

to alive

forevermore.

  1. Very cool, I really like this poem. I also wanted to say that I am glad to see you back to the blogging. I’ve been following in my RSS feed but finally got a chance to stop in and say hello in person.
